LifeStar is an Internationally recognized treatment program in nearly 40 Cities across the U.S. and Canada. Developed by Dan Gray and Todd Olson over 20 years ago. LifeStar Boise has been established in the Treasure Valley for over 10 years. After LifeStar Boise changed hands a few years ago, it sat quietly on the back burner waiting for the right time to reestablish this program in the community. We have worked to create a program that meets the needs and schedules of those seeking its services.
Sex addiction, pornography addiction and betrayal trauma are a growing problem that not only impacts relationships but quietly effects our communities. Those impacted by it have few options for getting support and help thus breeding a culture of shame, secrecy and isolation.
LifeStar, Boise is here to break down those barriers and start a conversation of recovery, healing and hope. We are ready for you!
The LifeStar program is designed to for both addicts and their partners. Our dedicated facilitators provide participants with the tools and support needed to find hope, healing, and lasting recovery from sexual addiction and sexually compulsive behaviors. Simply stopping the behavior may not be enough to achieve lasting sobriety. Our effective program addresses the underlying issues to create a permanent, long -lasting recovery. Partners will experience a personal healing journey through group support of other partners and trained facilitators direction.
We are excited to add a new element to the LifeStar program. In addition to weekly groups for both partners and addicts, we have integrated an app that sends daily information, reminders, affirmation, encouragement and opportunity for connection with other group members. This is one more element that helps you stay on the road to recovery.
